As is the case in most industries, telecommunication is one where many critical meetings and discussions take place. Oftentimes, new ways of presentation and storytelling are needed to excite the audience and bring a fresh take to the usual bland and boring boardroom meetings. Videos are often a great way to approach the subject in a non-dry manner as they keep their viewers engaged and interested, and our client wanted such videos for their internal C-level meetings to present a fresh take on their digital apps and tools.
The client wanted a product video to recap features of Bell and Virgin mobile apps from the previous year and then highlight the upcoming new features. They wanted to present this in an audio/video format in order to preserve the animations, interactions and its original UI.
With the brief given, we proposed the production timelines and set up weekly meetings to check in on progress of the animated videos. The first cut, which included music, was made once visuals, style, and copy were finalized, and were revised until all parties and stakeholders were content with the end product.
The results of the first video actually led to the opportunity to create more videos for the client.
